On Thursday, March 12, 2026, Erikah and I attended the Houston Mayor’s Pastoral Advisory Board meeting, where we had the opportunity to connect with several individuals interested in participating in our Technology Hub initiative. It was an encouraging and productive gathering that opened the door to meaningful partnerships.
One of the featured speakers was Police Chief Diaz. During the discussion, many attendees emphasized the need to increase the size of the police force. We offered a different perspective—highlighting that the root causes of crime are deeply tied to inequality and lack of opportunity. We emphasized that lasting solutions must go beyond policing and focus on expanding access to education, technology, and economic pathways. Our comments clearly resonated and sparked thoughtful reflection among several participants.
Over the coming weeks and months, our focus will be on establishing technology hubs powered by our servers and Chromebooks. We are energized by this opportunity to create real impact in our communities.
