Dula Abdu - STEM and education leader
As one of ADTech’s founders, Dula has dedicated tremendous effort to bridge digital and income inequality. Under Mr. Abdu’s leadership, ADTech has trained over 3100 economically disadvantaged children and adults in Houston. Dula Abdu’s dedication to STEM and Technology Education has helped ADTech bridge digital and income inequality. Before his current voluntary position with the organization, Dula worked at JPMorgan Chase in various capacities, including as a financial analyst and manager. He has also taught at various universities, including Jackson State University, University of Houston (Central), San Jacinto College, Houston Community College, and Texas Southern University. Dula has for many years been a distinguished civil servant, having sat on the Board of Directors of the Texas Workforce Commission as well as the Five Corners Management District serving the Hiram Clarke area. Based on this sterling track record of community service, Dula has been featured in the Houston Chronicle and other newspapers. His charitable activities include promoting economic development in Ethiopia, where he has started microfinance, technology, and water drilling projects.

Edith Chang
Environment and Sustainability
Hi everyone! My name is Edith Chang, and I’m excited to be teaching the Environment and Sustainability course. I’m originally from Southern California, and I bring experience from Houston Zoo programs. I’ve had the opportunity to educate people of all ages about sustainability and conservation, and participate in environmental campaigns. This is my first summer interning with AD-Technical, and I’m looking forward to helping our team grow and make a meaningful impact!

Arianna Chavez
Financial Literacy
Hello! My name is Arianna Chavez and I’m a rising senior in high school from the Greater Houston area! As someone from a lower-income background, I have a passion for providing free and low-cost resources for students with a passion for learning! I’ve had leadership experience in multiple ventures, including Women in STEM, National Honour Society, Youth Government, and more. I’m super excited to work with AD-Technical and help spread their mission.

Pamela Hinojosa
Intro to Engineering
Hey everyone! My name is Pamela Hinojosa Rodriguez, and I’ll be the Intro to Engineering teacher this summer. I was born in Mexico but grew up in a town near Houston. I’m passionate about the engineering field and love sharing it with others. My goal is to create a fun and analytical course as that is how I viewed the career-related courses I deeply valued throughout high school. This is the first year I’m interning at AD-tech and I can’t wait to see this initiative grow!

Jorge Rivera
Mathematical Applications
My name is Jorge Rivera Gonzalez, but you can call me Mr. George. I’m from Mexico City and I’m the Mathematical Applications teacher. I am a rising senior at Glenda Dawson High School and an SAT tutor. This summer is my first time interning at AD-Technical, and I also help develop the webpage. Having worked in various community childcare centres, I am exited to bring your child the best education in math available. I am very excited to start teaching interesting and challenging topics this summer.

Madhavan Vinod
App Design/Entrepreneurship
As someone deeply passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and education, I have the pleasure of leading Ad-Technical’s educational initiatives relating to entrepreneurial thinking, artificial intelligence, and application design. Beyond that, I have experience in marketing, sales, consulting, and market research. In addition to the summer camp, I am working on long-term initiatives with Ad-Technical to transform the STEM ecosystem of Houston. The future is exciting, and I am glad to be a part of it!

Ethan Xu
Python Programming
Hello, my name is Ethan Xu. I’m from Beaumont, TX and I am the current Python teacher. For some background, I’ve been coding since my freshman year of high school, 2023, and have been working with AD-Technical as their Python coach specifically for just south of 2 years now. I’m incredibly honoured to be able to help spread STEM education to the youth, and teaching coding is my passion.

Integrated Sciences
Hi! My name is Eraj Yusuf and I’m very excited to be the Integrated Sciences teacher. I’m from the Houston area and a current rising senior in high school. I enjoy the diversity that this course brings as science is a vast subject. Iis my first time teaching with AdTechnical, and I can’t wait to dive into the curriculum.
